How do I use my remaining balance to purchase a Disney Gift Card eGift?

Use the total amount in your account to purchase a Disney Gift Card (depending on the amount in your account, you may need to purchase multiple Disney Gift Cards) by September 27, 2017, and we'll add an extra 5% on your Disney Gift Card(s). We'll email the gift card right to your inbox for immediate use. If you are entitled to more than $10,000 in Disney Gift Cards (after including the extra 5%), they will be emailed to you over the course of a few days.

To purchase a Disney Gift Card with your Disney Vacation Account, please visit your account overview, select "View Account Details" for the account you'd like to use, and then select "Purchase a Disney Gift Card eGift."

Can I buy Disney Dollars with the Disney Vacation Account?
No, Disney Dollars cannot be purchased with the Disney Vacation Account.
Can I apply my Disney Vacation Account toward a Disney Vacation Club Membership?
No, Disney Vacation Club Real Estate interests cannot be purchased with the Disney Vacation Account.
Can I apply my Disney Vacation Account toward the Annual Dues for my Disney Vacation Club Membership?
No, your Annual Dues cannot be paid using your Disney Vacation Account.
What should I do with my Disney Vacation Account after I've used my funds?
After using your funds, your account will be closed.
Can I give my Disney Vacation Account to someone else?
A Disney Vacation Account may not be transferred to another person's name or combined with another Disney Vacation Account to form one account. You may use your Disney Vacation Account to make a partial or full payment toward someone else's Disney vacation reservation.

You may use your Disney Vacation Account to purchase vacation packages for the following Disney vacations:

When you're ready to book your vacation, there are 2 easy ways to make reservations. about using your Disney Vacation Account to pay for your vacation.

How do I use my Disney Vacation Account to pay for my vacation?

To make a payment for your vacation with your Disney Vacation Account, you will first need to retrieve your Disney Vacation Account number. Once you have your Disney Vacation Account number, there are 2 ways to make a payment for your vacation:

  • Online through the official Disney website for your selected Disney vacation destination. Please provide your Disney Vacation Account number on the payment page. Select the Disney Gift Card payment type and enter your 16-digit Disney Vacation Account number. Please note that Adventures By Disney vacations cannot be paid for online.
  • By calling the Disney Reservations Call Center at (407) 939-7734, and selecting option 3. You will need to provide your Disney Vacation Account number to the agent.

After you've paid for your vacation, any remaining balance on your Disney Vacation Account can be used to (subject to certain limitations—) or be refunded.

Can I purchase a Disney Dining Plan with my Disney Vacation Account?

Yes, you may use your Disney Vacation Account to purchase a Disney Dining Plan for select Disney Destinations when you book a qualified Disney vacation package that offers a dining plan.

Can I pay for hotel reservations with my Disney Vacation Account?

Yes, you may use your Disney Vacation Account to pay for hotel-only reservations at the following hotels:

Can I purchase air or ground transportation using my Disney Vacation Account?
Yes, you may use your Disney Vacation Account to purchase flight and ground transportation reservations when made in conjunction with a Disney vacation package and booked through Disney.
Can I use my Disney Vacation Account to make a payment on a reservation booked through my travel agent?
Yes, you can use your Disney Vacation Account to make a payment on a reservation booked directly with Disney through participating travel agents. Ask your travel agency whether your booking will be eligible to be paid for with Disney Vacation Account before making your reservation. However, only you may make a payment with your Disney Vacation Account (please refer to the following question for payment instructions).
How can I make a payment using my Disney Vacation Account on my reservation booked directly with Disney through my travel agent?

Once your travel agent has booked your reservations and you are ready to make a payment, your travel agent can provide you with your reservation number. Please call the telephone number specified below to make your payment using your DVA account. If you have any additional questions or requests about your reservation, please contact your travel agent. Participating Disney Destinations and Disney Vacation Account Payment numbers:

Can I cancel a vacation I purchased with my Disney Vacation Account?

The cancellation terms and conditions for your vacation or reservation will apply. Cancellation policies vary depending on the vacation that is being cancelled. For instance, your Resort hotel reservations may have a different cancellation policy than Disney Cruise Line reservations.

If you would like to cancel your vacation, please call the Disney Reservations Call Center at (407) 939-7734, and select option 3.

Depending on the terms and conditions for your vacation or reservation, a cancellation refund may be returned to your Disney Vacation Account. Learn more about the discontinuation of this program.

Can I use my Disney Vacation Account with another form of payment?
Yes, your Disney Vacation Account can be used along with other acceptable forms of payment. You can use other acceptable forms of payment to cover the remainder of your vacation payment not covered by the value of your Disney Vacation Account. Please visit the official website of your Disney Destination vacation preference to get information on acceptable forms of payment.
Can I use my Disney Vacation Account to purchase theme park tickets?
Yes, you can use your Disney Vacation Account to purchase theme park tickets in advance. Purchase online through the official Disney website for your selected Disney vacation destination. Be sure to have your Disney Vacation Account number available when purchasing theme park tickets.
Can I use the remaining balance in my Disney Vacation Account to pay for purchases I have charged to my Disney Resort room account?

If you have a remaining balance in your Disney Vacation Account after you've paid for your vacation, you can, subject to certain limitations, use the remaining balance to purchase a Disney Gift Card for use during your trip wherever Disney Gift Cards are accepted. Get details.

You can use a Disney Gift Card to pay for incidental charges made to your stateroom folio on a Disney cruise or for incidental charges made to your room account at select Walt Disney World Resort hotels and select Disneyland Resort hotels that accept Disney Gift Cards. Using and Managing Your Disney Vacation Account

How do I retrieve my Disney Vacation Account number?

You will need to have your Disney Vacation Account number ready when you make a payment for your Disney vacation. Here's how to retrieve your Disney Vacation Account number:

Step 1) Go to Your Account page
Step 2) Click "View Account Number" on the left side of the page under "Manage Your Account"
Step 3) You will be asked to sign in to your account again—and once signed in, only the last 4 digits of your account number will show online
Step 4 ) After you submit the request for your account number, the first 12 digits will be sent to you via the email address used for your Disney Vacation Account.

You will need to have the complete 16-digit account number (the 12 digits from the email and the 4 shown online) in order to use your Disney Vacation Account.

What if I suspect unauthorized use of my Disney Vacation Account?
If you suspect unauthorized use of your Disney Vacation Account, please immediately call (407) 939-7734 and select option 4, and have your Disney Vacation Account number ready.
I forgot my Disney.com username and password. How can I retrieve this information?
Your username is the email address that you used to register for Disney websites, such as disneyworld.com, ABC.com, ESPN.com or DVCMember.com.

For password assistance, please reset your password. A new password will be sent to you via email.
Can I make changes to my account after I've created it?

Yes, your Disney Vacation Account is customizable. You can change the name of your account, your mailing address, phone number, payment information and goals at any time. Please note that you can change the name of your account, but you cannot change your name on the account. Even if you change your name in your online profile, the name on your account will not change.

Are my funds safe? What protections are there for my Disney Vacation Account?

All contributions to your Disney Vacation Account and all contributions made to other Disney Vacation Accounts in the Program are deposited with a bank in a non-interest bearing deposit account that is insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation ("FDIC"). The bank account is held in the name of "Walt Disney Travel Co Inc as Agent For Benefit of Its Customers Participating in the Disney Vacation Account". Initially, we will use JPMorgan Chase Bank, N.A. Walt Disney Travel Co., Inc. is not a bank.

Your funds in your Disney Vacation Account are insured by the FDIC up to the coverage limits of FDIC insurance. However, the amounts in your Disney Vacation Account may be combined with any other amounts that you have on deposit with JPMorgan Chase Bank, N.A. for the purpose of applying the coverage limits of FDIC insurance.

Walt Disney Travel Co., Inc. may move the bank account to one or more other FDIC-insured banks from time to time.

Will Disney send me transaction confirmations?

Disney will send you an email confirming each transaction made through your Disney Vacation Account, including withdrawals and purchases.

You can also view the last 2 years of your transaction history on DisneyVacationAccount.com at any time in the "Account Activity" section of Your Account page.

Where can I see a list of all the transactions I've made with my Disney Vacation Account?
You may view up to 2 years worth of your Disney Vacation Account contributions, withdrawals and purchases in the "Account Activity" section of Your Account page. Your Disney Vacation Account Activity is shown by date from most recent transactions at the top, to oldest at the bottom. Click "Next" to see more transactions, up to the 2 year storage limit. This page will also display the current available balance of your Disney Vacation Account.
How does the account activity chart work?
The "Account Activity" chart is a visual display of your Disney Vacation Account activity. Contributions are represented by green dots, and refunds and purchases are represented by pink dots.
Can I download my account activity?
No, you cannot download your Disney Vacation Account activity, but you can print your transaction history.
How do I update my email address?
To update your email address, visit the Account Overview page and click "Edit Your Profile." After updating, please note that your sign-on credentials for the site will change and all email correspondence will now go to the new email address you provide.
How do I update my home mailing address?

To update your home mailing address, visit the Account Overview page and click "Edit Your Profile."

How can I help protect my Disney Vacation Account?

Make sure to protect your password and account number, and do not share this information. Keep the email address in your Disney Vacation Account profile up to date so you can receive email confirmations. Promptly review your email confirmations, and notify Disney immediately of any error or indication of fraudulent activity by calling (407) 939-7734 and selecting option 4, or by sending an email to Guest.Service@DisneyVacationAccount.com.

Disney Vacation Account Bonus Program

What is the Bonus Program?

You'll be eligible for a $20 Disney Gift Card for every $1000 you spend on qualified vacation purchases with your Disney Vacation Account prior to December 31, 2017 (date subject to extension), up to a total maximum of $500 in Disney Gift Card(s) per household.Your Disney Vacation Account must be active for a minimum of 120 days at the time of spending in order to receive this bonus. All accounts registered to the same address are considered part of the same household.

Qualified vacation purchases include vacation packages for the Walt Disney World Resort or the Disneyland Resort, theme park tickets, room stays, cruise fare, and vacations by Adventures By Disney. Purchases of Disney Gift Cards are not qualified vacation purchases for purposes of this Bonus Program.

Request your Disney Gift Card(s) 4 to 6 weeks in advance of your vacation date to allow time for delivery to your mailing address.

When can I request my bonus?

Once you are eligible for a bonus, you'll be able to request your bonus from the Disney Vacation Account website. Please make sure to request your bonus 4 to 6 weeks prior to the commencement of your vacation to allow time for delivery to your mailing address.

How can I request my bonus?

Sign in to the Disney Vacation Account website and select the Disney Vacation Account you have used to make your vacation purchases. Click on your Account Detail page then select "Request My Bonus" under "Manage Your Account." When requesting your bonus, you'll be asked to confirm your travel start date. Your bonus will be calculated and mailed to your home address approximately 4 to 6 weeks prior to that date so that we may send all eligible bonus funds on a single Disney Gift Card, for your convenience.

When requesting your bonus, you will be asked to confirm your travel start date (the day you are leaving home for your trip). Please allow 4 to 6 weeks to receive your Disney Gift Card via U.S. mail. This includes time for bonus validation, processing and shipping.

How is my bonus affected if I cancel my vacation reservation?
If you cancel your reservation after receiving a bonus Disney Gift Card, you and your household will not be eligible for any other bonus, and Disney may cancel your bonus Disney Gift Card.
